Wigmore is a small village filled with charm on the border of Herefordshire and Shropshire.

The hall was built in 1956 as a memorial to local soldiers who fought in WWII and was funded solely by fundraising. You can view a little video on the history of the hall here: https://www.facebook.com/wigmorevillagehall/videos/1217040485151349/

The hall is a registered charity and is continuously undergoing modernisation and improvements. It is run by volunteers and managed by a committee.

The premises are non-profit making, providing a service to the community, and rely on the co-operation of all users. Hiring charges cover running expenses, general maintenance and
making improvements to the building.

Community Cafe

Monday - Friday 12.30pm - 5pm

We can seat up to 26 and is served from the servery to the kitchen.

Cakes, snacks and hot meals are all prepared on site so if you fancy a coffee with friends, lunch with colleagues or after-school cakes with the kids please pop in.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in the cafe on leads.

Opening times are subject to change depending on the needs of the community so let us know what you think and we may extend in the future.

Parties and events also catered for.

Please see www.thehuddlehub.co.uk for more details.

We are always looking for volunteers both for the cafe and to help with running the village hall.

What we Offer

Wigmore Village Hall is a fully accessible venue for all. It has ample parking and toilet facilities open 365 days a year including baby change and disabled toilets.

There is a book, DVD and puzzle swap open on a daily basis which is free to enter and use with donations welcome.

With four rooms and a fully equipped kitchen available to hire, there is always something happening at the hall, so please follow us on our Facebook page (see below) or see our bookings page to see what's on.

We are also home to The Huddle Hub CIC who run our community cafe and are working with Herefordshire Council  Talk Hubs and other third parties to provide services to combat loneliness and reach members of the community who may otherwise be isolated.
